COMMENTS
- I thought this was a great choice for my first tri. I wish I had the opportunity to practice some OWS as that was quite the shocker to my system. The course was just right for my fitness level. Not too easy, not super tough either. All in all I had a good time, except for the old bitch slapping my truck when we were trying to leave. I had no idea anyone was still on the run course. Neither did the other 40 cars in front and behind me, but she cussed us and slapped my truck. I coudn't really blame her for being miffed, I was just irked she picked me.
- They changed the Sprint distance swim and the bike route several times in the weeks proceeding the race and did not notify by email or any other way. Overall it was well done event and a lot of fun.
- This was my first tri. I drove up from NW Arkansas because I had heard such good things about it. It was a great experience overall, and the event was planned and run extremely well.
- Website was out of date most of the year. Athlete and spectator parking was hard to come by, mainly because the weather soaked the fields.
